This set pairs two pieces that are built to outlast several refurbishments: a solid walnut booth and a matching walnut table.
The booth is a box-framed single-sided bench. Its back is a single padded roll in black leather fixed across a timber back board, and the seat is a cream cushion woven with fine brown stripes that sits inside the timber surround. Exposed walnut on the ends and back protects the upholstery from the knocks a busy room delivers.
The table is a rectangular walnut top on a pedestal made from crossed timber planks, so there is no metal base to rust or rock. In some of the rooms shown the same tables are also used with bentwood side chairs in a leaf-pattern seat, which lets one table design work along the wall and in the open floor.
Why it lasts. The seat cushion and back roll are separate upholstered parts, so either can be re-covered or replaced without touching the timber. We keep the cover patterns on file for reorders.
Where it works. Hot pot and Sichuan rooms, noodle bars, casual dining and cafés that want a warm, timber-led look.
Options. Booth length, single or back-to-back, stain, back-roll leather and seat fabric, table size.
