The Cane Wrap Oak Booth is a booth that looks like furniture rather than fit-out. Its back rises high and turns the corner at one end in a smooth curve, faced on the outside with natural woven cane in an oak frame. Inside, a grey upholstered back cushion follows the curve, and the seat cushion sits on an open oak base.
Instead of a solid plinth, the booth stands on turned and tapered oak legs joined by a low stretcher. That keeps it light, makes cleaning underneath easy and means the piece can be moved without unscrewing it from a wall.
Construction. Solid oak legs, rails and back frame with a natural lacquer; cane is woven into removable timber-framed panels, so a damaged section can be re-caned without replacing the booth. Cushions are fixed with concealed fasteners and can be lifted out for re-covering.
Where it works. As the end unit of a run, a corner seat by a window or a standalone booth in a café or hotel lounge.
Options. Left- or right-hand curved end, length, cane or upholstered outer back, and cushion fabric in wool, recycled-content polyester or leather.
