A statement top on a quiet, sturdy base. This table is meant to be the one piece in a booth run that people remember.
The top is rectangular with rounded corners and a black edge band, finished in a dramatic pattern of large amber and cream leaves over a black ground with flashes of green. It stands on two pedestals: each is a black steel column wrapped in fluted walnut cladding, set on a round black steel foot. Two columns rather than one keep a long top steady under elbows and keep it level on uneven floors.
About the top. We make this type of top in sintered stone or a high-pressure laminate with a printed décor, both of which resist heat and staining better than natural marble in a working restaurant. We describe the material exactly on the quote.
Built to be maintained. The walnut cladding is fitted around the steel column and can be refinished or replaced separately from the top.
Where it works. In front of booths in bistros, cocktail bars that serve food, hotel restaurants and feature tables.
