The Z-Leg Slipper Chair is a low, armless lounge chair built from two soft blocks and a pair of timber legs. The seat and back are thick upholstered cushions with rounded edges, covered in an oatmeal chenille-style fabric, and they sit on solid timber side legs shaped like a Z: one angled member running from the floor at the back up under the front of the seat.
Without arms, it takes little floor space and is easy to get in and out of, which makes it useful in lounges and lobbies where people sit for a coffee rather than a three-course meal.
Coverings. This is a chair where the fabric choice matters most. We can upholster it in pure wool, recycled-content polyester or a natural-fibre blend, specified for commercial abrasion and to your local fire rules. Covers are made on patterns we keep, so a second set can be ordered years later.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood inner frame, foam over webbing, solid timber legs bolted through the frame.
Options. Fabric, leg finish and a matching footstool.
