A frame that can be refinished, a seat that can be re-covered, a back that can be re-corded: this armchair is made of parts that are meant to be replaced one at a time.
The frame is solid ash in a smoky, open-grain brown finish, with square-section posts, straight legs and flat arms that are shaped on top for a comfortable rest. The back is a close run of cream cord, wound tightly between the top and seat rails; the seat is a thick, stitched pad in tan leather-look material over a timber frame.
Built to be maintained. The seat pad is a separate part and can be re-covered in leather, vinyl or fabric. The cord can be re-wound by a trained upholsterer, and the timber can be sanded and re-oiled.
Where it works. Dining ends of booth runs, bistros, hotel restaurants, private dining rooms and wine bars.
Options. Seat covering and colour, cord colour, timber stain and finish. Dimensions are confirmed on the shop drawing; arm heights should be checked against your table edge.
